Bowling for Birthdays
Ellie's request, after the party in class, was to go to a movie, bowl and eat pizza then go home and have cake and open presents. We did it all! What a day! We saw Enchanted which was a really cute movie that I would recommend for your holiday viewing pleasure.

Marcia and Siblings
Joe's uncle past away and we drove to the funeral in Utah last week. It was a really nice service. It was nice to meet a lot of Joe's relatives. Marcia, Lucy, Randall, Margaret.

Christmas Party Time
So sorry it has been over a month since I have posted. Aerobicgirl is also realtorgirl and I have been so busy at both! Another semester has ended and lots of college students are now going home to put back on all the weight they lost in my class over Christmas. It is sure fun teaching and getting to know about 240 new students each semester. I absolutley love teaching! This winter semester I am also teaching water aerobics again, I am excited to get in the pool. In Realtor news- I am thrilled that on Saturday I got an excepted offer on a house that I have been trying to find for a really nice couple from Lake Havasu. I have been working with them since September. If it closes next month, I will have Joe beat $$ on his top transaction- yeah, its a REALLY nice house. I hope I don't jinx myself by bragging before this thing closes! (I was knocking on wood while typing- so I should be ok.)
I really enjoy reading every one's blogs - sometimes all I have time to do is quickly read what everyone is up to and I don't take the time to post. Thanks to all my friends and family who take the time. You are all great examples and I wish I could say I will be better. I guess it's good that i am busy. I wish everyone a really MERRY CHRISTMAS, just in case I don't get those Christmas cards out! I love you all and hope to see you sometime during the season.
This picture is after a Realtor party Joe and I went to. Joe took the picture and Sydney refused to get in the picture, so that's why its just me, mazie and ellie.

Wow! 34!
Monday the 5th was my birthday. We had a really busy day helping mom with election stuff, but I did get go out to lunch with my mom and dad and Joe and Ellie. That night we got to out to dinner with Julie and her family to Craigo's -yum! I was so excited to get to see Julie and her cute boys on my birthday, it was the best surprise! She came all the way from CA just to have dinner with me! - Just kidding. I can't believe how old I am getting, I don't feel old, but I am definitely looking older! Ellie put her birthday crown on me and we decided to take some pictures. Check out the postings on Joe's tribe to see what else we did on my birthday.

Exercise of the Month
Stability Ball Push-ups
By using a stability ball and keeping your body rigid during push-ups, you will develop stabilizing muscles around the mid section and hips. Target muscle groups: chest, shoulders, triceps, lower back, and abs.
Roll forward placing your body weight on your hands until stability ball rests under your shins. Your body should be extended in a straight line from the stability ball.

Fit Facts
Fifteen seconds is better than five, though five is still better than nothing when it comes to improving flexibility.
A new study out of the United Kingdom suggests a significant benefits from holding each stretch at least 15 seconds as opposed to five seconds or not stretching at all.
Twenty-four college students (average age 20) participated in the five-week training study.
Those in the five-second group performed each stretch nine times, while those in the 15-second group did each stretch three times.
While both groups improved their passive range of motion, those who held their stretches longer showed greater improvements in active range of motion as well.

RUSH Triathlon
This Saturday my mom and dad and I participated in the Rexburg Rush Triathlon. We were a relay team. Our combined ages were so old that we won first place in our division! Thanks mom and dad, I could have never done it without you! It was so much fun I would do it again tomorrow! Here are some random photos from the day.
